How to get there?
From Frankfurt airport
Convenient train connections (with a single change e.g. in Karlsruhe) take approximately 3 ½ hours (see www.bahn.com for more information). Alternatively, driving by car will take 2 ½ hours (see also www.zollernblick-lauterbad.de/en/contact/directions/).
Travel directions from Frankfurt airport
Take an ICE train from Frankfurt airport (name of the station: "Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbahnhof") to Karlsruhe. On Sunday, 8 Sept there are direct trains to Karlsruhe at 7.53 and then every odd hour at x.53 until 19.53. Every even hour in between there is a connection with a change in Mannheim (connecting train is waiting at the same platform, opposite track).
In Karlsruhe, leave the train station through the main entrance. The tram S41 to Freudenstadt departs from the tram stop right in front of the station (Bahnhofsvorplatz). On Sunday, there is a tram at 6.12 and then every hour at x.12. Alternatively, at every even hour (at x.10, starting from 10.10) there is a train S31 to Freudenstadt departing inside the main station from platform 4 or 3. it is a bit faster. For your convenience, we have collected all connections from Frankfurt to Freudenstadt via Karlsruhe in a pdf-file.
In Freudenstadt, someone of the organization committee will welcome you at the station and give you directions how to get to your hotel (either by taxi, bus or our own shuttle service). The hotels are about 2.5 km away from the station. In case nobody is there (in particular, in the morning or late evening), please take a taxi to hotel Zollernblick or give us a phone call.
